Thank you for choosing Harrington Woodfuel Co. Ltd for your firewood needs. To ensure a smooth and efficient pick-up experience, please review the following terms of service:

Opening Hours for Pick-Up

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (limited assistance)
  • Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Pick-Up Guidelines

  1. Pre-Arranged Collections:
    Customers are encouraged to schedule their pick-up in advance to ensure your order is ready upon arrival.

  2. Limited Assistance on Fridays:
    Please note that assistance from our office staff will be limited on Fridays. We recommend planning your collection earlier in the week for a smoother experience, especially if you require help loading your order.

  3. Vehicle Suitability:
    Ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting the firewood safely. Harrington Woodfuel Co. Ltd is not liable for any damage caused to your vehicle during loading or transport.

  4. Order Verification:
    Upon arrival, please provide proof of your order confirmation (email or invoice) for verification.

  5. Safety on Site:
    For your safety, follow all instructions from staff and adhere to on-site guidelines during loading.

Additional Notes

  • Payment must be completed before collection unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • Orders not collected within 28 days of the agreed pick-up date may be subject to restocking fees.

Thank you for choosing Harrington Woodfuel Co. Ltd. To ensure transparency and smooth delivery of your firewood order, please review our delivery terms of service below:

Delivery Process

  1. Third-Party Courier Service:
    All deliveries are carried out by a trusted third-party courier service. While we coordinate with them to ensure timely delivery, please note that delivery schedules are subject to courier availability and external factors such as weather and traffic conditions.

  2. Palletised and Protected Shipments:

    • All firewood orders are palletised for stability and ease of handling.
    • Orders are wrapped and covered to protect the wood during transit.
    • Please ensure there is adequate space for the courier to deliver the pallet to your specified location.
  3. Delivery Locations and Access:

    • Deliveries are made to the curbside or driveway unless otherwise agreed in advance.
    • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery location is accessible for a pallet truck and vehicle. Difficulties in access may result in additional charges or a failed delivery attempt.
  4. Delivery Timeframes:

    • We aim to dispatch all orders promptly. Delivery times will vary based on location, courier schedules, and order volume.
    • While we strive for accuracy, specific delivery times or dates cannot be guaranteed.

Customer Responsibilities

  1. Order Verification:

    • Upon delivery, please check your order for accuracy and condition. Any discrepancies or damages must be reported within 48 hours.
  2. Unloading:

    • The courier is responsible for unloading the pallet. However, moving the pallet to a specific location on your property is the customer’s responsibility.
  3. Contact Information:

    • Ensure the contact details provided with your order are accurate and that someone is available to receive the delivery.

Additional Terms

  • Failed Deliveries:
    If a delivery fails due to incorrect information or inaccessible locations, additional charges may apply for re-delivery.

  • Refunds and Cancellations:
    Orders canceled after dispatch may incur a restocking fee. Refunds for failed or incomplete deliveries will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Please see below for delivery instructions


1. Pallet deliveries are made to a curbside location only. 



2. In order to operate SAFE pump truck operations, we can only operate on solid, flat surfaces. 


3. Our driver can only deliver to ground level locations.


4. Our driver is the only person to stand on and operate the tail gate. 


5. Our driver will not be able to manoeuvre pallets up steep inclines. 


6. Our drivers are not permitted to enter your property 


7. Our driver can only take away pallet(s) if requested by your supplier, prior to delivery. Disposal of the packaging is the responsibility of the customer. 

 

All orders are delivered to 1 (one) shipping address only.

If you would like a "split order" to 2 (two) separate shipping addresses there will be a flat rate of £20.00 surcharge regardless of distance between the 2 (two) addresses.  This will be agreed by our sales team and paid before delivery.

Returns

We are confident that you will be happy with your product but should you have any issues with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of the goods and we will be happy to replace the goods or refund your payment.

Please note that if you need to return goods because you have ordered incorrectly, you will be liable for transport costs.
